2. What data we process
The data users provide through the contact form or by email: full name, email address, company, country, profile (buyer, distributor or manufacturer), product or service of interest, and the content of their message. We do not request special categories of personal data.
3. Why we process it
- To respond to enquiries and, where appropriate, prepare a commercial proposal.
- To manage any commercial relationship arising from an enquiry, involving the KRONO team in Beijing when required.
We do not carry out automated profiling or make automated decisions with legal effects. We do not send regular marketing communications without express consent.
4. Legal basis
- The user’s consent when submitting the form (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR).
- Taking steps at the data subject’s request before entering into a contract and, where applicable, performing the contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).
Users may withdraw their consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
5. How long we retain it
For as long as necessary to handle the enquiry. If no commercial relationship begins, the data is deleted within a maximum of 12 months from the last contact. If a relationship begins, it is retained for its duration and subsequently, with access duly restricted, for the statutory limitation periods.
6. Recipients and data processors
We do not disclose data to third parties unless required by law. To provide the service, we use technology providers acting as data processors, with whom the safeguards required by the GDPR have been agreed: the web hosting provider and Google (email and the spreadsheet used to record enquiries).
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. For Google, transfers to the United States are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
International transfer to China
KRONO has a team in Beijing (China) that may access received enquiries to handle them and prepare proposals with manufacturers. China is not covered by a European Commission adequacy decision. This transfer is based on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission [PENDING: sign the standard contractual clauses with the Beijing team before publication; review with the lawyer]. Users may request a copy of these safeguards by writing to info@kronoglobal.com.
7. Your rights
Users may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability by writing to info@kronoglobal.com, specifying the right they wish to exercise. If they consider that their request has not been properly addressed, they may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
8. Security
KRONO applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access, and limits access to those who need it to handle enquiries.
